Huguan Siou: Donald, Pairin...ANWAR?

The tittle of this entry speaks for itself. Once again, "The Drama Queen" has done it again. Just recently Tun M made a note in his blog entry that in an aussie newspaper that TDQ would ignite a similar 'Arab Spring' in Malaysia upon his coalition of 'oil and water' failure in capturing Putrajaya in the coming General Election (Read HERE), now come in full view of his maniacal desperation by accepting the tittle of HUGUAN SIOU that is exclusive only to the KadazanDusun and Murut community in Sabah. (Read HERE and HERE

To the best of my knowledge, The KDM community STILL have their HUGUAN SIOU and the KDM community has a cultural institution aptly name KADAZANDUSUN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION (KDCA) and their council that is responsible to bestow this prestige title to the individual that well deserve it.

To add salt to injury, the man responsible for 'bestowing' the tittle (Jonathan Yassin) was NOT part of the council that is responsible. Is he above the council the perform such act or simply ignorant to the point of selling the dignity of the KDMs to some one who is not a member of the tribe, so to speak?

Therefore question came to mind is: to what end does he hope to achieve by bestowing such title to a non-KDM? He (Jonathan) can give one justification after another. This only proves that he is ignorant of the significance and meaning of the title itself and well as publicly displaying his arrogance and willingness to sell the dignity of KDMs in such fashion.

Click on the image below to view the posting.

Coming back to TDQ, apparently he is unaware that his action only demonstrate his lack of sensitivity towards the KDM community. Does his quest for power and dominance goes beyond the Primiership office, now he aimed to be the HUGUAN SIOU?

One thing DID came out from this fiasco: All KDMs regardless from which side of the political divide their are incline to (with the exception of PKR, not even a squeak from them apart from the illogical ramblings) has given their verbal 'bitch slaps' over this matter. All with the same theme: ignorant, lack of respect and undeserving. - Sabaheco

To him it was a ‘misplaced’ awarding of the title, as Huguan Siou is only conferred on a leader which is known to the KadazanDusun. “So when you bestow the title on someone who is not from the community, I would say that it is a misplaced award,” the former Tuaran member of parliament, stressed.

To bestow it on a non-Kadazan is illogical, somehow confusing the people and it could be an insult to the Kadazan community. It also rips the fabric of unity that Sabahans are well known for.
